BEACH WEEK 2021

We are excited to announce our summer student retreat in Ft Lauderdale Florida, July 5-10 2021. This is primarily for high school students and those recently graduated but this year we are making provisions to invite families to participate. We will leave early Monday morning on the July 5th and return late Saturday July 10th.

PRICES:

Standard Student Rate - $500 (all inclusive)
Based on 4 people per room, this includes transportation, lodging, and meals on the trip.

Family Room Rate - $1300 (lodging only)
Double room - 4 person occupancy
This option is for parents and younger siblings to join us on the trip! With this option, you will cover your own transportation and food expenses but join with us for as many activities as you like!

Student Family Room Rate - $200 (Transportation and Meals Only)

This option is for students staying in family room but otherwise would like the same meals plan and travel schedule as everyone else.
If a student is staying in a family room with parents, this is completely optional. However, in this case the student (or accompanying parent) will be responsible for meals and expenses.

EAST SOMERSET GRADUATING SENIORS

We know its been a tough year and so many of you have missed out on many of the normal senior activities.
Therefore, if you are a graduating senior and regularly attend East Somerset then we want you to join us! We are working hard to provide full scholarships for all of you!

In addition, if you would like to donate to help us send all of our high school seniors on the trip, you can give through the church office.

FAQs

How do meals work?

Due to the nature of our accommodations, each student will be given some combinations of room credits for breakfast and/or a cash allowance for lunch. Each evening we will either cater dinner or we will go to a restaurant. There are some fantastic culinary options close by that we hope to explore! We will also provide plenty of bottled water for each room.

How much extra money does my student need to bring?

This depends on your student. Souvenirs? Trip to the mall? Beach equipment rentals? Lots of extra snacks? We never advise sending too much money but $50 - $100 might be a good place to start.

What is the daily schedule?

Our schedule is intentionally laid back and designed to provide as much relaxing social interaction as possible. The only mandatory parts of the student schedule are a morning quiet time session, evening study/worship session, and the evening meal. There will be plenty of time to lay on the beach, play volleyball, basketball, and all sort of other beach activities.
